What a week this has been!

Hi, Everyone!

Sorry I haven’t posted in the past few days. Shags Shagrin, Veronica Wolfe and Thornton Prayer have worked very hard to give me a schedule packed with opportunities to bring ChangeWorks to the attention of the professional community out here in San Francisco.

On Monday, I was the guest speaker at the East Bay Coaches meeting.  This was my second time to be with them.  Last October, I presented the Nature of Change and introduced the ChangeGrid. This time, I picked up where we left off and spent most of the presentation exploring how the ChangeGrid can be administered as a personal, executive, partner, group and research tool.

On Tuesday, Veronica Wolfe and I were the presenters at the Marin HR Roundtable luncheon. She covered the Nature of Change and presented a high-level overview of popular change management models since 1990 — and set the stage for me to cover the ChangeGrid.  (They served the BEST lemon square I’ve ever had!)

Tuesday evening, I was honored to be the keynote speaker at the Mt. Diablo/Sacramento ASTD Expo.  It was fabulous — easily 100+ people, vendor booths, a rather lavish hors d’oeuvres spread and door prizes.  Thornton won an iPod!

Wednesday evening, I presented a comprehensive overview of ChangeWorks at a Bay Area OD Network event in San Francisco.  We had a nice assortment of OD professionals and graduate students in the Golden Gate University’s OD program.

This morning, I began a 3-day ChangeWorks Practitioner program with 18 new students and a half-dozen repeaters.  It’s a VERY interesting collection of professionals to say the least — and I’m looking forward to getting to know all of them better.

That’s the update for now —
